Help support the local organization: Keep Calhoun Gordon Beautiful with their Fall Recycling Event next Saturday

Gordon County residents can get rid of unwanted paint, tennis shoes, and much more, for free, at our Fall Recycling event. We will also shred documents. This is our semi-annual, community-wide event to properly recycle and dispose of unused or unwanted household products that contain hazardous waste. Items being accepted include:

Soft plastics and films

Hard plastics with or without numbers

Plastic flower pots

(we are not accepting monitors at this event.)

(we are not accepting computers at this event.)

Batteries and tools containing batteries (please tape battery terminals)

(we are not accepting electronics at this event.)

Latex and oil-based paints and stains

(we are not accepting medications at this event.)

New or used tennis shoes

Paper shedding

Eye glasses
